Description

A 1st UK pressing of Labyrinth on UK EMI America. Matrix A1/B1. The vinyl comes housed in a correct 1st issue laminated cover. We also have an original inner sleeve too - date coded to Spring 1986. Which is spot on for the 1st copies of this early summer release.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen lightest use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of lightest marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and clean and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. If you're looking for a really clean early copy - this one will definitely hit the mark for you. Perfectly clean signalled throughout which is great for Bowie's style in this period. Background interference would soon start to irritate. Pretty much perfectly clean throughout. A couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots per side. You most certainly will not find better for out-and-out audio. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex-) Very smart till thanks to the lamination. Seems to have avoided the dreaded ageing process. Nice and flat front and rear - just one thumbnail on the rear. Minimal edge wear and sharp openings. The spine is 90% intact. The only issue is a slight break at one of the stress creases. I have just done a small tape repair on it to stop deterioration and improve rigidity. Overall - very nice indeed.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits.
