Description
Up for auction is my personal copy of David Bowie - Man of Words / Man of Music. I purchased it in 1971 and have been the only owner. Since purchase it has been stored vertically in a temperature - humidity controlled - non-smoking home. It has been played no more than 5 times. First to make a cassette copy for my car, then later a CD copy and most recently to make a MP3 copy. It was always played on a DUAL 1019 turntable with a SHURE V-15 cartridge. The vinyl is clean and noise free, no imperfections can be found. The gatefold jacket is perfect except for minor scuffs on the two outer corners. There is no ring wear. The album was purchased at full price - it was not a cut-out so it has no corner cut off or hole drilled in the jacket. In the extreme close-ups of the label and vinyl some specks may be seen, this is dust and not any imperfections. The reflection of the camera may be seen in the vinyl in some of the photos.
