Rarity: this UK ‘shorepak’ printed sleeve has been beautifully signed by four members of the band, including;
Ian Hunter: vocals, piano,
Mick Ralphs: vocals, guitar
Pete Overend Watts: bass
Buffin: drums
(Please note that Verden Allen has not signed the sleeve)
All four have signed in medium blue biro-style pen and with Ian Hunter being 7/10 definition, and the remaining three being a strong 8/10 for ink definition and clarity. This classic album sleeve will look amazing framed!
Authenticity: this item was secured by me as part of a large consignment of various items purchased in March 2022 via world-renowned auction house ‘Omega Auctions’. Omega carries out exhaustive authenticity checks to ensure all items are 100% genuine, this item will come with a redacted copy of the invoice as provenance.
Condition: I have not graded this vinyl copy and the inner sleeve provided. This album went to number 21 in the UK album charts and with the lead single ‘All the Young Dudes’ charting at number 3, this album is not rare on any level, and can be picked up cheaply. superbly rare is the genuinely signed front cover!! The cover is graded on this basis:
· Front panel: moderate creasing, minor rubbing and indentations. Signatures are superb with a strong definition
· Spine and edges. Moderate wear points on the sleeve corners, and moderate wear on the edges and spine, with the spine with partial loss to the wording
· Moderate creasing and minor feathering on opening edge
· Rear panel: as per front cover and is unsigned, with moderate grubbiness
Overall cover graded as very good condition as per Record Collector grading and will look totally amazing framed!
