DESCRIPTION: These are a better than average collection of original Bowie singles from the 1970s and 1980s. There are actually 20 not 17 as pictured as I found a couple more. The 17 pictured are in either picture sleeves or RCa company sleeves. The company sleeves are nearly all in nice condition, 1 or maybe 2 have some tears and feathering, the rest are clean and tidy. This is a decent collection. Only 1 has a sticker on sleeve and 1 has writing on label is identified in listing. All UK release unless stated. Many are 1970s 1st presses with glossy RCA orange labels. All on RCA unless stated. Grades vary from G to EX. Average will be VG/VG. Nearly all will play loud and pretty clear. A couple only are more heavily played. 3 of the 1970s orange label ones are EX. These 3 are Young americans (solid centre), Jean Jenie and Starman.Others in RCA company sleeves are - Sound and vision/Rebel rebel/ Life on Mars/Starman (solid centre) Boys keep swinging/ Catpeople (MCA)/ PIC SLEEVES: John Im only Dancing (Lifelines)/ Scary Monsters/Tonight (sticker on sleeve)/ Modern Love/Absolute Beginners/Blue Jean/ Wild Is The Wind. In plain sleeves- diamond Dogs (Number "2" written on label)/ Heroes (German), Fashion, John Im only Dancing. Ive tried (as always) to accurately describe them, any questions please ask. Remember these are 40 year old singles so you are likely to get some background sound in run ins at least. You might even get the odd skip, they are not perfect but vast majority are clean and will play well. Packed these weigh nearly 1kg. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER ALT/PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
