David Gilmour - Live in Gdansk.
180 Gram 33rpm, 5 x Record Box Set Plus Complete MP3, Label= Columbia.
I purchased this in 2008 as an investment. It has never been been played and has always been stored in a cool, dry environment.
This is the last concert on David Gilmour's 2006 Summer Tour was held in front of 50,000 people at the shipyards in Gdansk, Poland, at the request of the Gdansk Foundation. The creation of the Solidarity movement, after Lech Walesa's sacking from the shipyards, led directly to the dismantling of the Soviet Union's control over the former Easter Bloc, and the reunification of Germany. The concert was the only occasion on which David performed the tour material with an orchestra, using the 40-strong string section of the Polish Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Zbigniew Preisner, who was responsible for the On An Island album's orchestral arrangements.
For vinyl junkies, the entire concert is available in a box of LPs: 8 sides are the concert, including Wot's…Uh The Deal?, while the fifth disc holds two Barn Jams, On The Turning Away live from Venice, and two songs from the Live From Abbey Road sessions. You also get a "Webpass," which allows one complete download of the whole five discs in MP3 format to a computer of your choice. There is also a large double sided poster and a quality book featuring some nice photos.

Postage & Packing:
This is a very nice item and I could not bear the thought of it getting damaged in the post. For that reason I reccomend that it is picked up in person. However, as I live in Madrid this may not be possible. Therefore, I will only send it by courier (recorded delivery) and I will pack everything myself.
In my experience, with posting heavy weight vinyl boxsets, I have found that the most effective way of ensuring the records inside do not damage the sleeves as they rattle around in transit, is to remove them from the covers (still leaving the vinyl itself protected by the inner sleeve). Unless otherwise instructed, this is the method I will use.
Postage Price will be calculated when I know where it will be sent, so it may be less than the value I have indicated.
