David Oistrakh “Beethoven Violin Concerto” Silver/blue Columbia SAX 2315 Vinyl.
As pictured. 1st press Columbia Blue/Silver. Sleeve in used but nice shape. See pics. Vinyl has been project cleaned and play tested. Side 2 looks nice with a nice sheen and very little obvious wear. It plays nicely with some very light background noise/crackle in places. Side 1 starts with some slightly more pronounced crackle. There is one noticeable mark (though not especially feelable, but it is clearly visible) about a-quarter of the way in. Around this the record gives off some audible ticks and pops for a while. There are some other light hairlines and marks on this side but the last half or so plays nicely with definitely a lot less crackle. I’ve tried to explain the listening experience and faults as best I can from cleaning/listing but generally don’t handle a lot of classical records, though I am aware condition is especially important in this genre. Overall I’d say nice sound with some light crackle in parts/quiet and some pops/ticks around the mark on side 1 in the picture. Starting at a low 99p start for it to find it’s own level. More than happy to demonstrate the record playing to any visitor to the London SE18/SE14 area before buying.
