Decca SXL 2243 (pressed in England)

An original ED1 UK Wide Band grooved Decca with the 'Original Recording..'  text on the label rims. It is housed in a jacket with the front laminated . As this came from the collection of our local radio station, both the reverse of the jacket and the labels carry the radio station markings(see results of my grading below).

GRADING RESULTS:

The jacket is graded as generally between VG+ to VG++ . There are some light creases at the laminate as well as the radio station markings mentioned above. In addition, there is a surface scuff at the top right hand corner at the reverse which has affected some of the words.

Both sides have a couple of light lines each though the one on side 2 is much lesser. These did not seem to have gotten into the grooves and  did not affect play. . It maintains its lustre and brilliance.  There were some extraneous surface noise which were not too intrusive and generally beneath the music. The playing is graded as generally between VG+ to VG++ in view of this.

** Condition Grading System **

Sealed : Album is still sealed in original shrink wrap and has never been opened. 

Mint (M) : Album has been opened and most like unplayed

Near Mint (NM) : A record that is almost perfect with audio flaws limited to very slight and isolated ticks and usually no visual flaws. Rare non-sounding visual flaws will be noted.

Exellent(EX) : Occassional visual flaws that are non-sounding, and very minimal noise-slight occasional mild tick- that does not intrude on the music.

Very Good Plus(VG+) : A record that may have some slight flaws, occasional ticks, very few repeating light ticks.

Very Good(VG) : May have some light scratches marks, There is some soft ticks and might have some pops.
