Description

An original and genuine 1st press of FIREBALL on UK Harvest. Matrix 2/3 - correct for 1st. Etching "PEK". Please note if you want to insist on an early 1st - take a look at the labels. The earliest copies went out with an apostrophe missing on 'Anyone's Daughter' - like this example. Well worth going for the earliest copies - they are that bit nearer those pristine masters and were pressed super chunky. Note the labels mention 'Gramophone' in the perimeter text [correct for 1st issue]. Again, if you want earliest 1st then you need to look for fully textured covers - inside and out [like this example]. We also have the original lyric insert and the original Harvest inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In marvellous condition and has only seen lightest use. Under close inspection I could only make a couple of slightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. You can insist on the ABSOLUTE best copy available on this title - so it is a no brainer really. Possibly the height of Purple power - these guys were at the top of their game. Don't compromise on the audio - expect and GET the best possible rendition humanly possible. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one small deviation. An absolute belter! Intros and inbetweens are beautifully quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. I tend to find tracks like 'FOOL' are the benchmark for a good copy. Average copies will fall over on this track due to its trippy quiet passages. A proper top level copy, like this one, will even ace those super fussy moments without exhibiting background. All I could detect was a couple of minor ticks midway through 'NonoNo' - that's it. Just keeping turning the amp and this baby will De-liver! FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Vg+) Not up to the standard of the vinyl - but to be fair this is often the case. Still in decent condition. but expect a bit of light handing to surfaces [nothing overtly obvious]. The interior is looking very tidy. Expect some edge wear in places [as is common on this title]. The wear has been inked in using black sharpie - and it is looking pretty tidy. A two inch wear-through at the middle of the top of the right panel. Internally repaired - just a minor cosmetic issue now. The spine is looking about average. Text about 50/50 legible - with some wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg) Fairly aged. Bag present. Two inch side split - internally repaired. 
Insert (Ex) Doesn't seen to have aged.
