Description

An original 1st press of FIREBALL on UK Harvest. Matrix 3U/2U. Etchings Pek. Gramophone text. Stampers 1R/1R - this is VERY early in sequence...probably from the 1st 2,000 ever pressed. And if you're into near-master copies...this is where you need to be looking for amazing audio. Lovely heavy pressing as you find on the earliest copies. The vinyl comes housed in a TRUE 1st issue cover textured inside and out. We have the Harvest inner and the lyric insert too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+/Ex) A superb looking copy and has only seen lightest use. Holy cow. I've heard some great copies in my time. This copy is hands down A-Mazing. It is probably straight in at number 1. Unbelievable preservation. A couple of faintest marks per side, super light bag rash in the odd spot - NOTHING that would remotely trouble this really heavy pressing. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ of playback. If you are a fussy so and so and only want the BEST the market has to offer...might be worth considering this copy. I certainly won't be sourcing another copy like this any time soon. Absolute perfect clarity and total 100% of reproduction possible...it's all there. Hear deep into the mix. Any sign of use in the quiet areas...? ..barely a whisper. I mean it is superb. I certainly don't remember hearing a cleaner [consistently] copy. I personally am a big fan of Fireball... So, this really is a total blast to demo this copy..Hell, I wish I could keep it. But sadly I have to say goodbye. Do you want to miss out on perfection..? Even into the fussiest moments of 'Fools'. I couldn't really find a single negative to list. It is absolutely superb from beginning to end. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex/Ex-) A massive pain in the back side to find the true 1st copies in this kinda condition. The surfaces never surface looking this unworn. Yes, you might spot slightest handling - but there is precious little evident. A bit of light edge wear that has been touched up with sharpie. One word - tidy. They very rarely look this tidy. The Spine is 95+% intact which is pretty unusual. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity. true 1st issue rarely surface in this condition.
Insert (Ex/Ex-) Not much sign of ageing..
Inner (Ex-) Light ageing. Bag present. No splits.
