DESCRIPTION: Deep Purple- In Rock. 1st UK pressing with machine stamped A2/B1 matrix, Harvest labels with No EMI credit, Harvest Records advertising inner and G&L gate-fold sleeve.

CONDITION (VINYLS/COVER): VG+/EX. Vinyl is really clean with a nice dark sheen. Tilted to light it shows a couple of faint hairlines. Played all of this today on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Plays Excellent generally. It has a soft tick towards the end of "Child In Time". Music is otherwise clear, clean, vibrant and loud throughout. Laminated cover is in great condition. It is firm and square and has light edge wear, light corner wear and light creasing. Great shape retained to fully and easily legible spine. Really clean inside to gate-fold sleeve. Harvest inner is very clean and white with minimal wear and no splits. Very clean labels with minimal spindle wear. No writing. rips, stickers or sticker tears. Check out the photos.
GRADING SYSTEM: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades.
I am just starting to sell off my very extensive record collection, built up over 40 years. I have many rarities in fantastic condition from many genres including blues, punk, metal, britpop, progressive, kraut, classic and hard rock. Almost all of the records i list will be in at least VG+ condition. The only exceptions would be some extremely rare records. PLEASE ADD ME TO YOUR FAVORITE SELLERS LIST.
