Description

An original 1st press of SBer on the UK Purple label. Matrix A1U/B1U - 1st cut. Stamped "Kendun" - indicative of 1st issue. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover with double spine text [as per 1st issue]. There's also an original Emi inner sleeve from this period too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen light careful use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are really nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Little to take issue with here - it just plays clean throughout. Bags of energy and detail - a very fine pressing. I couldn't detect more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. Overall a fantastic rendition which would be hard to equal.
Cover (Ex) In lovely condition and has been cared for - clearly. Lovely clean and flat front and rear with precious little creasing. Edge wear is pretty much absent - just a couple of minor stress creases. Other than that it looks pristine with sharp openings. Both spines are 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Lightly aged. But no splits.
