Description

An original 1st press of Stormbringer from 1974 on the UK Purple label. Matrix A1U/B1U. Etching "Kendun". The vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Also included is the original generic white inner sleeve with patent info. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen light use - really clean surfaces. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Interference is very minor and infrequent. The only deviation is a few light static crackles in 'Soldier Of Fortune'..minor and this is the fussiest track on the LP - all copies will exhibit something.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) In lovely condition and has clearly been looked after down the years. Nice clean front with no signs of discolouration or handling wear. The rear looks good too with very little handling. Edge wear is very light and the openings are still sharpish. Both spines are in excellent order with all text fully legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) Lightest ageing. No splits.
