Description

An original 1st press of Stormbringer from 1974 on the UK Purple label. Matrix A1U/B1U. Etching "Kendun". The vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Also included is the original company generic white inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In super condition and has only seen very very light use. Under close inspection we could only make out one very superficial mark - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. If you are just looking for the best possible copy out there for audio then - congratulations - you've just found it. Nigh on faultless all the way through - just clean audio. Interference is pretty much non-existent. I couldn't detect more than a couple of light crackles the whole way through - yes it really is that good. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex+) Woah!..It's not every original cover that survives looking like this - stunning! The original owner has pretty much archived it for 45 years...Fantastic colour preservation and practically no surface wear at all. This is found both front and back without the usual signs of record impression...this really is very unusual. Edge wear is totally absent...all spines are impeccable with not even a hint of wear..I'm literally having re-check because I can't believe it myself....but there really is none! All corners are square and uncrushed and the cover retains perfect rigidity and lies flat. One word...Wow!
Inner (Ex-) No splits or markings. Lightest ageing at extremities.
