Cover: Laminated gatefold cover, printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd. The laminate is in lovely condition, with just a couple of small creases on the back, and a little bit of laminate cracking on the front top edge. There is the faintest hint of ringwear on the back, but no seam splits or edge-wear. The spine is slightly squashed, and there is a little bit of wear at the top and bottom of the spine, but the text is fairly clear and legible. Strictly graded as EX.

Inner Sleeve: Plain, white paper inner sleeve with ‘PATENT No. 1,125,555” and ‘MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN’ text printed in black ink. There are two or three small stains, but all seams are intact.

Labels: Original Harvest labels with ‘THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD.’ text and no ‘EMI’ logo. Just a couple of light spindle trails on both sides.

Vinyl: Looks near-mint under normal lighting. Under a halogen light I see a few very fine sleeve removal marks, none of which affect playback. On my turntable set-up I do hear some low-level background surface noise, but this does not detract from the music at all, which plays through with superb sound quality – no skips, ticks, pops or distortion. If it wasn’t for the low-level surface noise, I would grade this as near-mint, so strictly graded as EX to EX+.
