Description

Here we have Deep Purple - The Book Of Taliesyn, a 1969 UK 1st repress on the Harvest label SHVL 751 with NO EMI on the label and Deep Purple printed in one line.
The record has been ultrasonically cleaned in the amazing Degritter and has come up sparkling clean with glossy lustre retained. No real marks visible, a couple of faint scuffs, but really nothing worth mentioning. Clean labels and spindle holes - graded EX.
Playback reveals a typically Harvest warm, analogue & detailed sound, with great bass and depth. A very nostalgic and enchanting listen. The vinyl plays through beautifully with no jumping or sticking, very occasional low noise/crackle, but nothing unusual for vinyl of this vintage. 
The laminated gatefold sleeve is sturdy and smooth with a small patch of laminate lift just starting to the lower RH corner near the logo. Lovely crisp readable spine. The rear top seam has been secured with a little tape at some point but this has been carefully done ( see photos).
The original printed EMI inner sleeve is present & in super condition- still doing a great job some 56 years on!
A lovely original copy to own, play and enjoy - fully cleaned & tested, ready to pop straight onto your turntable!
