Description
A UK 1971 1st Press copy of Deep Purple - Fireball released on the Harvest EMI label SHVL 793 in the textured garefold sleeve.
The record has been ultrasonically cleaned in our amazing Degritter and the vinyl has come up sparkling clean with good lustre retained and no marks worth mentioning. Clean labels and spindle holes - graded EX.
Playback reveals a wide, open and detailed sound, warm and nostalgic in tone. Superb dynamics and low frequency - this is an enchanting listen. Occasional very low background noise, mainly in between tracks, but really nothing that spoils the enjoyment.
The gatefold sleeve is textured inside and out ( which indicates a first press copy) is solid and sturdy. Light wear to edges and spine but still very readable. Very mild ringwear visible. No splits, writing, stains, tape or tears.
The lyric insert sheet is included.
The original EMI printed inner sleeve is present, however we have popped the record into a brand new poly lined inner to keep it pristine after cleaning - you will receive both.
A lovely 1st press copy, fully cleaned and tested, to own, play and enjoy!
