Description

Descendents - Milo Goes To College LP - OG New Alliance Records Pressing. (Pre-SST) Hardcore Punk RARE . Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
New Alliance Records did 3 pressings of this record before it was picked up by SST Records.  This is the 3rd New Alliance Records pressing. There is no SST Logo or bar code anywhere on the cover.  "Marketed by SST", in very small text on the bottom right corner of the back cover, is the only mention of SST, and indicates that this is the 3rd N.A.R pressing. (The first 2 N.A.R pressings do not have that text.)
The record has a good amount of wear and tear. There are light scratches visible pretty much all over both sides. There are a few longer ones too, including one that goes across all of the songs on side 2. There may be a few scratches that are more significant sound-wise, but most appear to be light. I doubt think there are any that are significant enough to cause a skip, but there is bound to be some surface noise on this record. It may still sound fine if you don't mind a few pops and clicks here and there, probably not very noticeable over the music, but more so in between songs. Just keep in mind that this copy does look a bit beat up. G+
No insert was included with the 2nd or 3rd NAR pressings of this record.
The cover is in really good shape overall. There is minor ring wear, mostly visible at the top and bottom center, of front and back. There are a couple pen tip sized spots on the cover. Not sure what they are but they are almost unnoticeable and could possibly be removed. As with a lot of the dings on this cover, they wouldn't even show up if not for the light grey color of the design. The back cover has a couple small, very faint, stains or smudges on it. The largest one is about the size of a finger tip, but again it is very faint. There are a few minor light veins near the edges and / corners. They are light, most of them short, and they are few in number. I have included close up pictures of the worst ones. One of the corners has a very small bend. It can be seen in the close up picture of the "Marketed by SST" text. The other corners have slight wear but are in much better condition than the one pictured. The spine edge is in surprisingly good shape for a record from 1984. All the titles are still mostly intact and readable. The band name has started to fade a bit and a few letters of the record company name text have worn off. (see pictures) Overall, the cover is in great shape, but because of its bright, near white, grey color, all blemishes tend to stand out more than they would on a more colorful record cover. VG+
