Description
Originally recorded March 28and April 3,1957 in New York and released on Riverside RLP 12-236 as "Kenny Drew-This Is New". This is a mono, deep groove JAZZLAND RECORDS 1960 re-release by Donald Byrd, the featured trumpeter.
From my personal collection, signed by Donald Byrd in 1994 at a NYC performance I attended. The record has only been played once or twice and has been cleaned on a VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine. Photos show condition and details of actual items.
CONDITION
· VINYL- VG++: A visual reviewof sides 1 and 2 show both surfaces have no visible scuffs or scratches.
· RECORD LABELS: Red label with no marks, writing or spindle wear.
· COVERS: Front and back covers are clean with no marks or writing. The top right corner, bottom rightcorner and spine have splits that were carefully taped and are hardly visible(See red circled photos).
· SLEEVE: Original sleeve.
