Description
Dvořák / Ravel - Edith Peinemann ∙ Tschechische Philharmonie ∙ Dirigent: Peter Maag – Violinkonzert A-moll Op. 53 / Tzigane
Signed by Peinemann “With very good wishes Edith Peinemann Jan. 5th 1974.”
This was from the estate of a gentleman who frequented the classical music and opera scene in Dallas during the 70s.
Vinyl looks VG+ but sounds VG on my system. There’s no groove wear and it’s very vibrant sounding, but it’s not a completely quiet surface. Some crackle that never overwhelms the music. No skipping on playback on my system.
The front cover is VG with some light creases from corner bending and considerable wear on the spine. No split seams. Back cover has ring wear and the autograph in blue pen. Original inner somewhat yellowed with a few spots.
Most resembles Discogs [r10832519].
A great, collectible highlight in Peinemann’s small but esteemed recording career.
