Here is a great vintage Earth, Roots & Water single from Canada called "The Need To Leave Her".
This song has more rim shots than a basketball game.
These guys opened for The Police back in the day, I think Stewart Copeland got his great rim technique from here.
I find it hilarious that there's only one well-timed cymbal crash in the whole song!
Kinda like the whistle solo in "Down On the Corner" by CCR.
Flip side is a beautiful psychedelic dub version called "Awakening".
This 45 has so much reverb, and atmosphere, you'll swear it's an old Jamaican gem.
Not too surprising, actually, when you realize that Prince Jammy set up their studio and Jackie Mittoo and Leroy Sibbles were hanging out there.
For me, this completely blows away those thousand dollar soul tracks. If those are worth 1000, then this is worth 10,000.
This is a super rare original Canadian pressing on Summer Records.

The vinyl is glossy and nice, with surface marks that result in a small bit of occasional low noise.
Plays great.
A reasonable starting price, considering that their lone LP sells for 150 dollars and these songs are both non-LP.
Haven't even seen the LP offered for two years now.
A great rare piece of Canadian reggae history.
