Description
This listing is for a pretty rare and out of print vintage vinyl LP of the self-titled album by the Canadian reggae pop / ska group known as The Sattalites (or simply Sattalites on this album).
It was released in 1985 in Canada (and not released elsewhere) by the label Axe Records with catalog # AXS 525.
The album has never been reissued on vinyl since it first came out and only re-released once on CD in the very early 2000s.
This record comes from the collection of a former record store owner who's owned it since they received it new in 1985.
Since then it's been properly taken care of and was only taken out of storage very recently. Before that it had not been played in over 35+ years.
Record Condition:
Only minor visible surface wear is present.
Clean center labels.
Vinyl still has a very nice gloss.
There's also some light dust/dirt and a few finger print smudges, so a thorough cleaning would remove that and probably brighten the sound even more.
Industry Grade: Super Strong VG+, but probably more like a VG++.
Jacket Condition:
Moderate signs of shelf wear present on edges, spine, and corners.
Some cardboard creasing is present, especially on the upper left corner.
Only very light ring wear is present.
Some very light discoloration is visible on the upper left side of the front of the jacket.
No seam splits, stickers, or any other major defects.
Inner Sleeve: Original poly inner sleeve.
Industry Grade: Strong VG.
