FROM MY OWN COLLECTION:
AN EXCEPTIONAL COPY OF THIS CLASSIC & RARE MADE IN ENGLAND 1st PRESS MONO LP RELEASED IN 1957 BY THE GREAT EDDIE COCHRAN ENTITLED:
'SINGIN TO MY BABY'
The only LP first issued during Eddie's lifetime!!
You will be hard pressed to find a nicer copy at my price (on another online site some Sellers are asking 800 euros for it)!!

1st PRESS MATRIX no.'s 1B / 1B
MOTHER STAMPERS 2 1 C & 2 1 H (2 is 'over' the 1 to each side of the disc).
THIS IS A VERY EARLY ISSUE OF THIS RARE LP:
* THE 1st press SLEEVE is of flimsey thin card with a laminated front with flipbacks to unlaminated rear (the straight-edged flipbacks unusually have angled cut edges at their corners & Note: 'half moon/crescent' shaped flipbacks on London LPs DO NOT always mean an LP is the earliest press - the one that just sold on ebay for £275 with half moon flipbacks had a 1961 date code on it); no 'Robert Stace' printing credit so this the earlier ' J.P' St James Press issue; the 'Have I told you Lately' track on Side 2 is wrongly credited to Mac Wiseman (should be Scott Wiseman), this was corrected on later pressings; and, 3 of the 4 sleeve edges (not the opening edge) have an unusual but discernable thin 'brown' coloured band to them - I've not seen this before!
* THE 1st press Mono DISC is of thick vinyl with grooved labels; 1st press 1B / 1 B matrix no's & very early Mother Stampers, to the run off wax each side.
* THE 1st press INNER SLEEVE has the correct orig. 'HANDLING' 'PLAYING' text with a poly lining & is of thick slightly textured paper.

CONDITION - SLEEVE: A BEAUTY AS THESE SLEEVE ARE SO FRAGILE! LOADS OF GLOSS TO THE FRONT, JUST THE LIGHTEST SIGNS OF AGE/HANDLING & SOME VERY LIGHT RINGWEAR TO FRONT. REAR VERY CLEAN. NO TEARS & NO WRITING. SLEEVE GRADES AS EX TOWARDS EX+
- DISC: A BEAUTY! LOADS OF GLOSS, JUST 1 or 2 SPINDLE MARKS ONLY TO LABELS & NO OBVIOUS SIGNS OF PLAYWEAR. UNDER AN ELECTRIC LIGHT I CAN JUST SEE A FEW VERY FINE SCRATCHES/PAPER SCUFF LINES TO EACH SIDE, WHICH NAP. BOTH SIDES OF DISC PLAY GREAT & SOUND GREAT WITH NO SKIPS, CLICKS OR JUMPS. NICE BRIGHT LABELS. DISC GRADES AS EX TOWARDS EX+
- INNER SLEEVE: LOVELY CONDITION. JUST SOME LIGHT AGEING TO THE EDGES, SOME MINOR RINGWEAR & SOME CREASE-MARKS TO THE POLY INNER. NO TEARS/SPLITS & NO WRITING. INNER GRADES AS A STRONG EX.
