Description
Up for sale is an original 1957 UK issue of Eddie Cochran's single "Sittin' in the Balcony" c/w "Completely Sweet". The record comes in its original London company sleeve.
I am a former record collector in the process of liquidating the bulk of the collection.

Side 1: Sittin' in the Balcony
Side 1 matrix number: 45-MSX-1637-1C
Side 2: Completely Sweet
Side 2 matrix number: 45-MSX-1733-1C
Record condition:
Label: clean and clear both sides with no markings or writing, however it is missing the triangular centre (it comes with a later replacement centre) There is some sign of wear around the large centre hole, most likely due to it being played in a record player having a large centre spindle (common in Malta in the 1950's).
Vinyl: VG condition as per Rare Record Price Guide "The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch." (hence the low starting price) Retains a good shine overall with surface marks visible when held against the light.
Sleeve: original period company sleeve, intact with no tears, slight rust-coloured stain at one edge and minor age-related wear at edges.
Sound quality: excellent and clear sound reproduction, minor surface noise only audible when played at high volume. This record was tested on a Sansui SR-2050C turntable.
Overall this is an excellent playing copy of a rare single!
