Description
Item: EDISON NEEDLE CUT 78*RPM ELECTRIC 12”Operatic disc with gold label (47005).
Label: E/E+: Like new (nearly perfect) - Gold paper label with black lettering (47005) - No writing, No wear, No spindle marks, No stickers.
Record: Almost E+: A near perfect copy with no groove wear. Strong original luster/shine, a very few very light surface marks that do not affect play. No cracks, No chips, No pits, No needles runs, No repeating grooves or any other playback problems.
Cover: No original sleeve
Notables: If you collect Edison needle cuts, you know what this is! It would be hard to find a better copy.
EDISON NEEDLE CUT 78*RPM ELECTRIC 12” lateral cut discs with gold labels were made in only the last year Edison was in the record business (1928-9) and had an original sale price of $2.00. It is not known how many copies were made, how many were sold, or how many still exist.

Shipping by 1st Class International mail DOES NOT include insurance or any way of tracking your package once it leaves the U.S. If you have had issues with non-delivery of packages, I would strongly recommend requesting Priority Air or Registered Mail service.
