Description

Presenting Edison thin needle type 78 RPM record #14056.  Both sides are solid dance band perfomances by Mel Morris and His Picadilly Players.  The selections are "Tiptoe Through the Tulips With Me" and "In the Hush of the Night".  The "Tiptoe" side is an interesting and peppy non-stock arrangement of the tune.  The vocalist is Phil Dewey.

The record is in V+ condition with good signals on both sides.  The surfaces display considerable scuffing.  There is a 3/4" wide bite out of the edge of the disc but it does not reach the grooves on either side.  On the "Tiptoe" side there are two deep dimples in the shellac but they play through with little audible impact.

Thin Edison electrics are hard to find, and even with its problems, this is a very enjoyable one.  Please be sure to look at my photos below.

We are 78 RPM record collectors ourselves, and have shipped them many times. We will package this record very carefully, so it arrives in your hands in the same condition as it left ours.  Bid with confidence!

Thanks for looking, and good luck.
