Description

Released in 2001, Souljacker was Eels’ fourth studio album. Unlike many of their other records, Souljacker is mostly based on stories of outsiders rather than on bandleader Mark Oliver Everett's own life. The LP’s release was delayed in US due to what their label deemed a lack of “radio-friendly singles,” yet in the likes of Dog Faced Boy, That’s Not Really Funny, Bus Stop Boxer and especially Fresh Feeling it has in fact produced some of Everett’s most popular songs.
