Cat#: SML 1074 Record Label: Deram Country Released: UK Label Info: Red/White Deram label without ® against logo indicating 1st press. Stereo/Mono: Stereo Release Year: 1971 Grading Vinyl Grading EX Sleeve Grading VG+ Comments Visually the vinyl is clean without any noticeable scratches. Maybe the odd scuff but certainly nothing that can be felt. The vinyl rotates evenly without any signs of warp. Under bright light there is evidence of hairline scratches (the type from being removed/inserted into sleeve).The sleeve retains it's laminate throughout with some slight lifting at the spine. The corners show signs of wear but nothing major. The sleeve is slightly compressed with signs of stacking. The rear has some storage ring wear in evidence and the a previous owners name and address written (small and neatly) in red pen on the spine side. However, the sleeve is solid throughout.
The label is very clean and in amazing condition.
Audibly the cleanliness of the record means the playback is great. There are certainly no skips, loud pops or clicks that reoccur over several rotations. From time to time there may be the odd little bit of crackle and slight loss of definition in very high frequencies. Side Two plays slightly nicer than side one and may indeed be closer to EX+.
In summary, I would say that this copy has been 'enjoyed' but, thankfully, not abused and well worth the starting price. Still in fine shape and, given the market value, well worth the starting listing price. Title(s) / Tracks: Side A
