Perhaps Ella Fitzgerald's masterpiece album, Ella Sings the Duke Ellington Song Book, on the original 1957 double gatefold LP on Verve MGV 4008-2. Both discs are a gorgeous near mint. They play just about flawlessly with barely the slightest noise. The only flaw is on side 4, where there is a little scuff which does tick for a short time. The beginning of that side features some narration before the music, and the ticking is only through the talking. It ends before the music starts, and the rest of the record is back to NM. The cover has two seam splits along the top edge of both sides of the fold (see photo), and a little corner ding at the lower spine. But aside from that it is quite well intact with very little general wear or ringwear. A lovely overall copy. Sounds absolutely wonderful.
