On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Elmer Gantrys Velvet Opera called 'Elmer Gantrys Velvet Opera' and is a VERY rare UK Stereo 1st Pressing on the Direction label!!!! THIS IS SIMPLY A MASSIVE RARITY!!!! THIS LP IS VERY VERY HARD TO FIND - ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION!!!! DONT MISS OUT ON THIS SUPERB OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Direction UK 1st Stereo pressing from 1968 and is in STUNNING condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is 8-63300 on the ORIGINAL Direction label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Elmer Gantrys Velvet Opera at their best!!!! Any fan of Elmer Gantrys Velvet Opera, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 wispy light hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! The whole record looks NEW - apart from the wispy type hairlines mentioned above - and clearly hasnt been played much AT ALL - with CRYSTAL CLEAR sound!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS A 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO nasty loud pops, NO sticking, NO jumps and NO crackle!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve!!!! The Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! The unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO wear, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!! There is NO rips, NO tears and NO staining!!!! The cover must grade Excellent ++ if not better!!!!
HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!!
