One of the rarest records in the world, the SP 45-76 was pressed in 1960 for DJ's only and is marked NOT FOR SALE on both sides of the record. According to Jerry Osborne's "The Money Records" The 1000 Most Valuable Records this is rated #164 and was valued at $3000 in 1998! Though I'm always hesitant about calling a record mint, as they may have flaws from the factory, this one is just that MINT. It looks like it was pressed today. The sleeve is beautiful, only a tiny 1/8 inch to 3/16 inch tear on the top back. All 3 seams are perfect, no seam splits from the record. The sleeve alone is valued at $2000 at 1998 prices. This was only issued to very few select DJ's. Not many survive, the few that remain are in major collections. Bid like you will never see another one, because you probably won't. I've never seen one in 10 years on ebay. Buyer to pay actual shipping and insurance. Buyer to pay by USPS money orders or certified check. NO PAYPAL because of their fees. No exceptions. On Apr-23-08 at 20:32:29 PDT, seller added the following information: The record and sleeve have been stored separate from each other the last 40 years. The second picture of the back of the sleeve bottom right shows a very lite impression from when the record was in the sleeve it goes all the way around. It is not ring wear in the sense that you would normally think of ring wear being. It is there from the record being shipped in. The sleeve's colors are perfect and the sleeve is glossy all over no wear at all where the lite impression's from the record are. They may be able to be pressed out, I don't know. The record is perfect unplayed. On Apr-24-08 at 15:54:30 PDT, seller added the following information:The colors in the second set of pictures make the front appear yellowed with age.....that is not the case, the sleeve is bright white and yellow with no yellowing from age.
