AUCTION DESCRIPTION
Up for auction is a still sealed long play record of ELVIS PRESLEY titled:
“KING CREOLE”
RCA-LPE-1884(E)
THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT A TAN LABEL PRESSING. ELVIS CANADIAN TAN LABEL PRESSINGS ARE MARKED WITH 3 LINES OF TEXT OF A CERTAIN FONT ON THE BACK COVER.
THIS RECORD CAME OUT OF A COLLECTION OF ORIGINAL SEALED ELVIS LPS FROM THE EARLY 60S ONWARDS. THE FEW THAT I OPENED WERE ALL BLACK LABEL. MY GUESS IS THAT THE LABEL ON THIS LP IS EITHER BLACK OR ORANGE, BUT I AM LEANING HEAVILY TOWARDS BLACK.

GRADING
I have been collecting vinyl for 25 years and I have always used the “Goldmine Grading System” to grade my records.
I assume that the contents of sealed records are mint since they are factory fresh, never having been tampered with. However, even though a long play or box set is sealed, the exterior of the package still needs to be graded. Thus, I look for any defects on the exterior of still sealed items such as seam splits, creases that are visible through the shrinkwrap, and damaged corners. Any defects to the exterior packaging of still sealed records will be noted in my ads.

All records are packaged to the best of my ability to prevent them from being damaged in transit.
