Description
KING CREOLE on RCA - TELDEC Telefunken, Decca Schallplatten LPM-1884 mono. The album cover is very good (has a price stamp on the reverse), original record sleeve has '59 catalog (split seam on bottom), labels are perfect. Matrix numbers on side one: Manufactured in Germany, LP J 2 PP-4183-X, C, and Hi-Sw - side two: Manufactured in Germany, LP J 2 PP-4184-X, J, and Hi-Sw. The records has no warps, major scratches, or visible defects, but has a few very light scratches that should not affect the sound.
These LP records are all from my personal collection. My brother purchased this new back in 1960 at the U.S. Army PX in Verona, Italy. They were well cared for. At that time, they were played on a stand-alone record player. Later, I had a Dual manual turntable with a Pickering low mass, eliptical cartridge. I played them only a few times. Then, twenty-five years ago I went digital. The records have been stored vertically, untouched for a couple decades now. I no longer have the ability to play them, so I can not say for certain how they sound, I can only report on my close visual inspections.
