ELVIS PRESLEY 1961 JAPANESE "SOMETHING FOR EVERYBODY" RA-5020 LP WITH RARE COVER.
I am thinning out my lifetime collection of records, cds, books, vintage clothing, vintage household items etc etc over the coming months (or years!). I have been collecting all things 1950s for nearly 40 years & a lot of it has to go … to make room for new acquisitions! Please check out my “other items” for more great stuff.
A great LP, period but even cooler is this alternate cover version from Japan. This 1961 black VICTOR pressing, is the 2nd of 4 that I have to sell (one sold 2 weeks back) & this one has great colour to this unique to japan sleeve & shows some creasing which can be seen in pics (the one let down on these otherwise brilliant Japanese LPs are their flimsy covers). Labels show well but have a lot of spindle marks. Record shows with good lustre but does show a lot of marks throughout & plays with background crackle. It's also an interesting mono mix in that I swear you can hear stuff, not heard on other mixes...
