THE quintessential rock & roll LP of all-time... Elvis' first!
Ultra-rare 1956 pressing created for U.S. Armed Forces supply stores (available to G.I.’s stationed overseas… like Elvis himself!)

- “LPM 1254 C” serial number on label
- “Made in U.S.A." printed on the labels
- “Manufactured in Germany" stamped in the run-off area
- Slightly glossy black labels with silver graphics and lettering
- Label info in English
- “LP-G2-PP-1282-X” & “LP-G2-PP-1283-X” numbers stamped in run-off area
- Thicker and heavier record than the standard U.S. pressing
- “Printed in U.S.A.” printed on the back cover
- Bottom left of back cover has red ink-stamped military inventory number (3/7, K 903 122) and price ($2,50)

The owner treated this like the treasure it is... it has been stored inside the original 1950s plastic baggy. The bag is opened along the right edge, so we have temporarily removed the plastic in order to take the photos seen below. The cover looks like it has never been removed from the bag... with brilliant color, clean whites, crisp printing… a pristine glory to behold!

There are exactly two small flaws that prevent the cover from being absolutely perfect:
1) a quarter-inch (0.25 inch) split of the top spine (at the mouth... SEE PHOTO)
2) a half-inch (0.5 inch) split of the bottom spine (at the mouth... SEE PHOTO)
Otherwise... MINT!

The record has some light hairline scratches and light abrasions caused by the plastic of the inner bag. The record has been play-graded, and there isn’t a single pop or click throughout… sounds really nice! There is some very light surface noise (when played using a sensitive stereo stylus). If you use the intended Orthphonic Hi-Fi system, this thing will sound like a million bucks. Graded VG++ (and the labels are flawless)
