Description
I'm selling this for my mom. This is one of her personal records that she purchased new when she was a teenager. I'm not a record collector and only know what I have researched about this album. I will list the condition as honestly as I can and will answer any questions you may have.
A DATE WITH ELVIS LP
This is the original, first version of the cover and is a 'gatefold' cover. The cover opens to show a 1960 calendar and a small drill hole to hang the 'calendar' up with. The record itself is the black label, with the dog at the tip and the 'RCA VICTOR' logo in silver and the words 'LONG PLAY' in silver at the bottom of the record label. This is a first pressing mono deep groove record. (an indent in the label about 1/2-inch from the edge of the label, which on SOME labels is associated with very early or first pressings). The red track listing sticker is in excellent condition with no lifting or damage. The cover corners have a bit of wear and there the side seams have some partial splittin. Inside the gatefold is beautiful, clean and glossy. The record is in good conditon. There are some light scratches from normal usage but no major scratches. This also has the original RCA sleeve inside the album with Elvis's other records on it. Stamped into the dead wax on side 2 is the following: K2PP-1149-2S and hand etched into dead wax on side 1 is the following: K2PP-1149-2S
