TIME TO RETURN TO 45s!! This is a reasonably priced original 1956 U.S. RCA Victor Records 45 RPM record WITH ITS ORIGINAL STOCK RCA VICTOR COMPANY SLEEVE containing the song 'Blue Suede Shoes', the song most closely identified with Elvis' early career, backed with the rocker 'Tutti Frutti', both taken from Elvis Presley's first 1956 RCA Victor album. It is RCA Victor Records U.S. catalog number 47-6636, black 1950s-era RCA Victor Records labels with the dog at the top. This 45 is a GUARANTEED 1956 ORIGINAL, NOT A 'REPRO' REPRODUCTION OR A LATER COLLECTOR'S PRESSING. Elvis was so popular and his records in such great demand when his first album was issued in 1956 that RCA Victor took the unprecedented step of also issuing all of the twelve tracks from his first RCA album on a consecutively numbered series of six 45s; this 45 is one of that series. All of the 45s from that series are much harder to find than Elvis' early hit single releases that were not taken from his albums. Visual condition of record is a mid to high VG+ with all original gloss and some light surface marks, none of which can be felt or will affect play. Labels have a little contact wear and a little wear around the center hole, no other problems. Stock RCA Victor company sleeve has a 1" split in its bottom edge, some writing on one side, and some wrinkles.
