"HEARTBREAK HOTEL" b/w "I WAS THE ONE" RARE ORIGINAL GOLD STANDARD ISSUE RCA 447-0605 WITH SLEEVE!

Most Gold Standard reissues did not have picture sleeves, and most of the ones that did were on singles promoted specifically to become radio hits, like "Suspicion", "Blue Christmas", and "Puppet On A String". Exceptions were "All Shook Up" and "Heartbreak Hotel" that were issued with sleeves despite being straight up reissues, not shopped to radio as 'new' releases. Why is only known to RCA. Both of these are hard to find in nice shape. We already sold "All Shook Up", here is the other, RCA 447-0605, "Heartbreak Hotel", with an extra added attraction - a dramatically mis-printed stock single!

PICTURE SLEEVE: The sleeve has a light record storage impression, some crinkling across the top, a soft bend partially from the top of the 'E' in PRESLEY straight down to just above his ear in the picture. There is also a partial light wear ring mostly visible to the left of his head and around the right center edge of the sleeve. No splits, no tears, no writing, the sleeve is still basically nice & flat, colorful. Please look over the pictures carefully.

THE RECORD: This is probably unplayed. "I Was The One"  label is printed properly. "Heartbreak Hotel" label however, as you can see, has the title only, no Elvis credit, no 447 stock number. The RCA trademark rim print is across the center hole! It appears that this simply printed out of line, it is the result of the bottom of one impression and the top of the next, creating quite an odd label. Collectors love oddities and here's a very obvious one on an otherwise M- record by The King! 

OVERALL A NICE VG+ SLEEVE AND M- MIS-PRINT '45.
