EMI ASD 349 : KUBELIK BEETHOVEN SYMPHONY 6, RARE CLASSICAL RECORD LP EXCELLENT

This is a rare record, a great recording of this fantastic symphony.

The record looks mostly in excellent condition with minor scratches etc, and it has deep rich dynamic sound, as you would expect from a first press / white label ASD. Upon listening there is of course general vinyl crackle but no particular cliks or pops and certainly no jumps, however I must mention that the start of side two has what i believe to be some subtle defect in the vinyl itself (not very visible, about 1cm sq area) which results in specific crackle, about half a second crackle every rotation for about the first minute of the 3rd movement on side 2. If you want perfeclty clean sound, then this is not for you .. if you are happy with some crackle then no problem. I only mention this as this is an expensive valuable record and I want to be as accurate as possible. I have not cleaned this recently as I know sone of you have your own cleaning preferenves.
The thing I noticed most about this record overall is that I had always thought Beethoven 6 to be gentle (apart from 4th movement), but this record is dynamic, and the orchestra performance has energy, altogther this has a sound and gusto that I have not really heard in Beethoven 6 before. That together with the fact this is a rare collectable item makes this a special item.
