On offer here is a very VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Eric Burdon & The Animals called 'The Twain Shall Meet' and is a 1968 UK 1st MONO pressing!!!! THIS IS A MASSIVELY RARE LP!!!! THIS HAS TO BE ERIC BURDON/ANIMALS RAREST LP BY FAR!!!! THIS IS ALSO THE VERY 1ST (AND MUCH RARER) MONO PRESSING WITH A FLIPBACK SLEEVE, A YELLOW MGM 1ST PRESS LABEL, & 1/G 1/R MOTHER & STAMPER CODES!!!!  THIS LP SOLD IN TINY QUANITIES ON RELEASE AND YOU JUST NEVER SEE IT!!!!  DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is an ORIGINAL MGM MONO 1st pressing from 1968!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is MGM C 8074 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Yellow MGM label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Eric Burdon & The Animals at their best!!!! Any fan of Eric Burdon, The Animals, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! This LP played through with NO jumps and NO skips - but the vinyl isnt in perfect condition (though the cover looks BRILLIANT) - though it still plays through well enough.  Normally I would aim to offer a record in a better condition than this one - however anyone who collects Animals or Psych LPs will know just how hard it is to find this LP AT ALL - let alone in decent condition!!!!  This still has to be considered as a MEGA RARE opportunity - as this LP simply NEVER turns up and it is rarer still in MONO!!!! The record does have a few scratches, a few hairlines and a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  The record as a whole is VERY shiny looking and certainly DOES NOT have a 'trashed' appearance in ANY respect!!!!  Certainly at first glance the record has the appearance of a VERY nice glossy record (it still has a 'just pressed' look) and Side 2 should definitely be graded visually Very Good if not better (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) with only a few light hairlines/scufflines, and only a VERY few light paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  Side 1 however does have a few scratches, hairlines and a few light paper scuffs and these do cause a few pops in places and some background crackle - but NO jumps and NO sticks!!!!  Side 1 must only be graded visually Good at best.  An overall visual grade must be around Good+ - but remember that this record DOES NOT stick and DOES NOT jump!!!!  HOWEVER THE RECORD DOES RETAIN ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! And the few marks on Side 1 have clearly only been caused from carelessness and NOT from 'overplay'!!!!  It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with Side 2 playing VERY well indeed with NO nasty loud pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and only some VERY slight background noise/crackle in places!!!! Side 1 (as stated before) does have a few pops/clicks in places, but NO jumps, NO sticks and some crackle in places (though it is NOT constant).  There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record play grades Very Good+ for Side 2 and Good for Side 1.  An overall visual and playing grade for this LP should be Good+.  Not a perfect copy of this LP by any means - but it is certainly EXTREMELY rare and DOES NOT jump!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 'Patents Applied For' White inner sleeve!!!! The Flipback 1st Press Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! The unlaminated back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO writing, NO wear, NO rubbing (MEGA rare on this cover), NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!! DONT MISS OUT ON THE RAREST ERIC BURDON/ANIMALS LP IN MEGA RARE MONO!!!!
