Eric Clapton, uno dei migliori chitarristi blues/rock del mondo, nel 2019 ha formato ancora una volta un team composto esclusivamente da star delle sei corde per il suo quinto Crossroads Guitar Festival. In occasione del concerto evento di due giorni, che ha avuto luogo all’American Airlines Center a Dallas (Texas), si è tenuta una raccolta fondi per il Crossroads Centre di Antigua, il centro di riabilitazione per la tossicodipendenza fondato da Clapton nel 1998.

Dopo un’interruzione di sei anni, il festival è ritornato rinvigorito con straordinarie performance di Clapton, James Bay, Jeff Beck, Doyle Bramhall II, Gary Clark Jr., Robert Cray, Sheryl Crow, Andy Fairweather Low, Peter Frampton, Vince Gill, Buddy Guy, Sonny Landreth, Lianne La Havas, Los Lobos, John Mayer, Keb’ Mo’, Bonnie Raitt, Robert Randolph, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Jimmie Vaughan e tanti altri.
