Description

Henry Hall and His Gleneagles Hotel Band (at the Midland Hotel, Manchester) play "I Lost My Girl [sic] from Memphis" and "Good-Night, Sweetheart" on Decca F2330.  "Memphis" is a very hot arrangement with many good solos and prominent string bass by Spike Hughes.  Bobby Sanders sings.  The flip is a ballad with alto and baritone sax solos.  Recorded on April 19, 1931.
This record is in EE- condition generally.  "Memphis" plays that way, but "Sweetheart" has a few instances of distortion in the very loudest passages.  It's also a somewhat noisy pressing.  Apart from those flaws, the record plays very well. 
I'm a longtime collector who is downsizing.  I know how to pack records.
