This really was the birth of progressive rock! It was the Beatles' 9th Lp and what an imapact it had. and still does have. Released on the 1st of June 1967, the album reached number 1 across the board, staying at number 1 for 23 weeks!! With a total of 148 weeks in the charts!!

LOVELY AND EARLY

 Has a lovely dull sheen. Visually, sh carries only a couple of very light marks and light scuffs to the vinyl and plays over these without any problem at all...They are only superficial.
NON-BANDED

Just finished listening to the whole album and found a wonderful clear sound reproduction.
!!!TURN THIS BABY UP LOUD!!! (I did)
Only very light and very occasional background noise in the quiet sections, which disappeared as soon as they arrived.
The audio reproduction is wonderfully rich.

 It is the ORIGINAL 'Fools Inner' with the flames, in SUPERB condition.

Just some slight creasing-that is all!
NO splits, writing or even discolouration.

 Yep, that good. Sharp corners and the all important DARK GREEN colour-showing this to be the 1st press.
No need to say anymore-just superb!

The Cover:
VG+/EX-.
The front cover is still in great condition, as is the back cover and the inner picture. There is a small crease mark to the top right corner of the back gatefold-nothing to be worried about at all.
Still opens with a crackle as if opened for the 1st time back in 1967...Showing a simply glorious full colour picture of The Beatles in all their splendor!
Legible spine-which carries a tiny 5mm dink to it..Nothing bad at all.
Barely any spidering at all to the front laminate-just a couple of very small crescents and some small fingers emanating from the spine...that's is all!
 I am being incredibly critical as well as honest as possible.
