This Lp was released on the 10th July 1964. The 45rpm was released in April and at that time the Beatles' film had yet to get a title and as the story goes, Ringo emerged from a long days work saying "It's been a hard day," then seeing it was already dark added " 's night." This was then announced to the press as the title on the 17th of April. Ringo may have seen this phrase before in Lennons book "Sad Michael."
Holding a number 1 position for a huge 21 weeks, from July the 25th!!!
This is also the ONLY Beatles album to have every track written by Lennon/McCartney.

Lovely rich, clean and clear sound reproduction, with BARELY ANY background noise AT ALL!!
I have just listened to her-all the way through and was amazed at how quiet the run-ins and outs were-as well as inbetween tracks! Not to mention how wonderfully clear the audio was....Ireally noticed the pronounced bass-especially on track1, side 1 and then throughout with the bass drum shining out on Can't Do That..Quite unusual.
Looking at the vinyl, I can see there are just a handful of light and insignificant marks and, however, I didn't find they had any affect to the play back-which remained gloriously clear and rich throughout the whole record.
GENTLY CLEANED WITH A VACUUM RECORD CLEANER AS WELL AS ULTRASONICALLY CLEANED.
Still has the wonderful factory sheen and is lovely and flat.
Nothing AT ALL to make her jump or skip

Lovely and clear. Just a handful of very light spindle marks, visible when angled towards bright light, with some barely any central hole wear...Please see the detailed pictures.
There is one light needle mark to the side 1 label, but that is all I can mark her down for.
The text is a very slim text-rather than the chubby text-please see the images for yourselves.
Outer text "The Parlophone Co. LTD" (ONLY 1st Press have this) it DOES have the "Sold in the uk.." text.
Would frame incredibly well.

Solid, small mono in top right corner. Shiny front cover...There are just a few small lines of spidering near the opening, but they are very slim and appear to be a slight factory defect rather than wear.
With just light rubbing to the corners.
Still has a white card backing, with just slight spots of discolouration but nothing offensive at all...PLEASE SEE THE DETAILED PHOTO'S.
The flipbacks are in superb condition with barely any wear to them at all!

It is the original "USE EMITEX" tracing paper lined inner.
WITH THE MUCH RARER “PATENTS APPLIED FOR” text to the bottom left corner of one side.
In TOP condition-just light creasing and a small split to the top right corner of around 6cm.
She has certainly done her job in looking after the lovely slab of vinyl!
