This Lp was released on the 10th July 1964. The 45rpm was released in April and at that time the Beatles' film had yet to get a title and as the story goes, Ringo emerged from a long days work saying "It's been a hard day," then seeing it was already dark added " 's night." This was then announced to the press as the title on the 17th of April. Ringo may have seen this phrase before in Lennons book "Sad Michael."
Holding a number 1 postition for a huge 21 weeks, from July the 25th!!!
This is also the ONLY Beatles album to have every track written by Lennon/McCartney.

154g QUALITY HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL
VG+!Lovely heavy vinyl with a gorgeous sheen. There are only light marks to the vinyl BUT after playing her all the way through I found the sound reproduction to be lovely and clear! Only very light and occasional background noise, but with quiet run-ins as well as being quiet inbetween tracks.
DEEP RICH BASS
A gentle professional clean and you've got a great copy.
 Very nice indeed.

RARER "ERNEST J DAY" COVER-These were made at a rough ratio of 10:1 in comparison to the usual Garrod & Lofthouse covers....They needed to meet demand, so farmed some work out to EJ Day!
 Solid, small mono in top right corner.
Shiny front cover...With just a few small fingers of spidering to the front laminated cover and one light, longer line from the opening.
LOVELY CONDITION!!
Only slightly discoloured white card backing, with a little discolouration from age...but I do too :)
NO WRITING
Good strong corners too.
WONDERFUL EJ Day flipbacks, in TOP condition.

EXCELLENT, STRONG, UNCRUSHED & LEGIBLE spine.
