Description
Here is a beautiful vintage ORIGINAL PRESSING of a CLASSIC Beatles album from my collection offered up for sale: The Beatles 1st ever USA album "Introducing the Beatles", this is a RARE vintage 1st pressing released in October 1963 on Vee Jay records LP 1062 , has "color band" style brackets logo labels and beautiful Vee Jay printed inner sleeve. This album features "Please please me", "Ask me why", Twist and Shout","I saw her standing there", "Boys" and more.
The vinyl rates EX! Breathtaking super glossy and clean, a few light marks, mostly sleeve marks, that won't effect play, has been PLAY TESTED and plays excellent from start to finish, a very enjoyable listen. Paper inner sleeve is in excellent condition. A couple small seam repairs to inner sleeve. A second inner sleeve will be included for shipping.
The cover rates EX, is clean and bright with no ring wear, NO SPLITS, top and bottom seams are intact, binder edge is EX, intact and readable. A bit of wear noted at corners, The back cover is clean and pretty, has been very well preserved for 60 years! (see all 12 photos)
A NOTE ON VEE JAY COUNTERFEITS: This album is said to be the most counterfeited album in all history! There are tons of FAKES out there!! A couple quick ways to spot a fake: If George does not have a shadow on the front cover IT'S A FAKE. If the labels have a spindle hole between Introducing the Beatles and The Beatles IT'S A FAKE. (no exceptions!) I can assure you this one I have for sale is an ORIGINAL and AUTHENTIC Vee Jay pressing! You will cherish having it in your collection! The book value is about $250-300 on this pressing!
Will be shipped in a protective plastic sleeve in a record mailing box with tracking number. Vinyl will be shipped in inner sleeve outside cover to prevent cover splits. Check my eBay store "Groove Vibrations" for more Beatles records and other rock record gems! Buy more than one item from our list at one time and we will ship them together. Thanks for looking!
