This album was The Beatles FIRST release on the now famous Apple label. It was entered into the charts on the 7th of December 1968 and went straight to number one-where it stayed for 7 weeks! Making it the FIRST double album to get the top slot...EVER!
The rather unusual fact about this album is that it was the first release by The Beatles which contained only SOLO material.
By the time 1970 ended, the total sales of this wonderful album were estimated to be 6.5 Million! However...get this...The only other album that beat this a few years later was "Saturday Night fever" !!!

The condition:
Vinyl: Disc 1-quality 145g vinyl. With a lovely EX rating. Just a few light visual marks which barely register on playback...I noticed maybe 2 or 3 very light pops, nothing at all to worry about. Flat as the day she was born...Sounded great.
Disc 2-Another quality 141g weight . As well as an easy EX-, with the minus just becasue she visually carries just light, superficial marks-I did not hear any evidence of these light marks when playing her...Which is great as it is the quieter, more instrumental disc . Also as flat as the day she was born.

The audio was fantastically deep and rich on BOTH DISCS...Turn her up!
Both have barely any background noise at all.
*WONDERFULLY CLEAN AND CLEAR AUDIO THROUGHOUT*

The labels:
EX.
Superb  for both..NO WRITING, just traces of faint spindle marks and some slight central hole wear-as can be seen in the images provided.

The Cover:
EX.
 Wonderful 1st pressing cover with the correct 'Stereo' to the back gatefold panel. Very light wear and remains the all original creamy white colour and not the later whiter covers. The corners have some light storage wear and there is a very small water mark to the bottom of the bottom left corner-at the base of the spine-really nothing to worry about. Slight discolouration on the spine-again, nothing to worry about. NO splits, tears or writing.

The Pictures:
Near Mint!
Sharp corners and lovely and glossy....Just a couple of light spots of foxing to the back of them..that is all.

The inners:
 EX+...Now that is rare!
 All original black, one windowed inners. They have just slight feathering to their openings and one has a thumbnail size of a tear near it's window...Survived really well.

The poster:
EX.
It is the original 1st print without the censored images. The folds have just light wear to them and the central creases have just very small 2mm central crease holes, which is quite normal for a poster of this age which has been stored for 60+ years. Only slight foxing.

ALL IN ALL THIS IS A SUPERB, COMPLETE COLLECTORS PIECE HERE...DON'T FORGET:
IT IS  STEREO, WITH ALL PICS, A POSTER, 2 BLACK INNERS, IS NUMBERED & ALL ORIGINAL-WOULD MAKE A GREAT ADDITION TO ANY COLLECTION.
