This was the Beatles' thirteenth and final album release. Let It Be was originally released as a Box Set, with "The Beatles Get Back" book. Of course the album went straight to the number 1 position within the Melody Maker, New Musical Express and Record Retailer charts. It stayed there for 3 weeks from the 23rd of May 1970. The release date was the 8th of May 1970 for the box set and the 6th of November for normal album release.

I have just played her all the way through and found she provides an extremely good, rich sound reproduction, with barely ANY background noise...All I noticed was a couple of very light and incredibly brief (one or two revolutions) pops which are not offensive at all.
*EVEN THE RUN-INS WERE AS CLOSE TO SILENT YOU COULD HOPE FOR*
Certainly no jumps, skips or sticks-utter quality slab of vinyl here.
I am using a Focus One Deck with SMK arm and Audio Technica stylus....On a very light setting.
Both sides sounds deep and rich.
Still has that gorgeous shine.

*VERY, VERY DISPLAYABLE*
DEEP MATTE GREEN APPLE labels which are as sharp in print today as they were when born in the 70's.
 No writing.
Only some very light spindle marks..just visible when angled toward the light and looking for them..Lovely!


Cover:
VG+/EX-.
Shiny, glossy, rich, black in colour and laminated to both sides.
The pictures of the Beatles shine out in all their glory.
The back cover has the green apple above the EMI and Apple records text at the bottom.
The spine is still lovely and strong...you can clearly see the writing down the spine "The Beatles Let It Be" & "Apple Records PCS (the PCS'' has been rubbed)7096."
There aren't many lines of spidering... Around 5 very small crescents to the front, with barely anything significant to the back...Just some fingers of spidering emanating from the seams.
VERY WELL LOOKED AFTER.
Would frame well.
NO SPLITS OR TEARS to the cover.

 An original die-cut EMI inner in super condition.
With the "IMPORTANT NOTICE..." text to both sides, but not in an outlined box as it was later.
There is just a small split of around 3cm to the bottom seam-that is all...other than some discolouration to the paper-a bit like me ;)

WOULD SIT PROUDLY IN ANY COLLECTION.
SHE STILL SOUNDS GREAT, IS FLAT AS THE DAY SHE WAS BORN AND ALL COMPLETE WITH A SUPERB EARLY EMI INNER.
