Description
Here is a CLASSIC album from my collection offered up for auction: A beautiful original 1972 "Harvest" album by Neil Young, released by Reprise records MS 2032 Stereo. This one is a first pressing with the heavily textured blotter paper cover and inner sleeve, still has lyric insert. Vinyl has "LH" hand etched and "STERLING" stamped in the deadwax (this is Leo Hulka's initials, who was the chief engineer for Sterling Studios). Great songs on this album: Heart Of Gold, Old Man, Alabama, The Needle And The Damage Done, A Man Needs A Maid, Are You Ready For The Country, and more. This one is in very well cared for condition, vinyl looks minimally handled and played, hard to find is this well cared for condition!
The vinyl grades strong EX, is beautiful, clean and glossy, only a couple faint sleeve marks and a couple very small light marks, nothing heavy, looks minimally played. This vinyl plays with deep sound that has very light background pops, very common for this pressing, a great listen! The labels are bright and clean, show minimal wear. deadwax MS 2032 A 31176-2F STERLING LH and MS 2032 B 31177-1V T16 STERLING LH
The gatefold cover rates EX, is clean, no stains, no age discoloration, all edges and corners with minimal handling wear but back top seam has a spot of shelf rubs/bumps to paper (see photo), binder is EX and readable, inner sleeve is clean with two small center splits, no tape, no handling wear! The textured paper lyric insert is clean, no bends, no handling wear.
Will be shipped in a plastic sleeve in a record mailing box with a tracking. The vinyl will be shipped in the paper sleeve outside the cover to prevent cover splits. Check my eBay Store "Groove Vibrations Vintage Records" for more vintage album gems. Buy more than one item from our list at one time and we will ship them together. Media rate may take up to nine days but is usually much faster.
