This is a very rare find indeed; in fact, I HAVE NEVER SEEN ONE ON EBAY BEFORE! What I am offering is the PIONEER T-500, SOLID STATE, 4-TRACK, Hi-Fi, STEREO TAPE DECK, in exceptional condition, in its original box and packaging and with it’s original colour owners manual, plus the full colour sales brochure which covers this product.
Moreover, you can bid with ABSOLUTE CONFIDENCE, because this machine has been very recently serviced by the highly acclaimed ‘reel-to-reel’ engineer GEOFF KREMMER of SERVICESOUND (see www.servicesound.com) and Geoff has confirmed that mechanically this machine is in IMMACULATE condition and he has applied his PROFESSIONAL 6 MONTH WARRANTY, WHICH IS TRANSFERRABLE TO THE WINNING BIDDER!

THE ‘HIGH VALUE’ PHILIPS REELS SHOWN IN THE PHOTOGRAPH ARE INCLUDED IN THE SALE. ONE SPOOL CONTAINS 1800ft OF GOOD QUALITY MAGNETIC RECORDING TAPE; THE OTHER IS THE MATCHING ‘TAKE-UP’ SPOOL.
Also included in the sale are the leads to ‘hook-up’ to your stereo amplifier, the rubber reel retainers plus the ‘owner’s manual’ and ‘sales brochure’ as mentioned earlier.
This tape recorder accepts spools up to 7 inch and has two speeds – 3 ¾ and 7 ½ ips. (Please email me if you need to know full performance specifications, which ARE very impressive).
Cosmetically, this remarkable machine is in truly EXCEPTIONAL condition. There are NO MARKS AT ALL on the classy wooden side and top panels and just one or two very small blemishes on the bottom of the machine, but these are of course totally invisible when the machine is in vertical use. The decals and logos are crisp and clear and of course all ‘knobs, buttons, switches and dials’ are fully in tact and operate EXACTLY AS THEY WOULD HAVE DONE WHEN THIS MACHINE FIRST LEFT THE FACTORY. THE HEADS SHOW NO SIGN OF ANY WEAR AND TEAR AT ALL!
