Have a listen to a track from this album for sale:

This album was The Beatles FIRST release on the now famous Apple label. It was entered into the charts on the 7th of December 1968 and went straight to number one-where it stayed for 7 weeks! Making it the FIRST double album to get the top slot...EVER!
The rather unusual fact about this album is that it was the first release by The Beatles which contained only SOLO material.
By the time 1970 ended, the total sales of this wonderful album were estimated to be 6.5 Million! However...get this...The only other album that beat this a few years later was "Saturday Night fever" !!!

The Vinyl:

EX-!!
THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE BEST LOOKING AND SOUNDING DOUBLE LP'S FOR THE WHITE ALBUM I HAVE COME ACROSS IN A VERY, VERY LONG TIME.
I have listened to the WHOLE album and only found minimal and very occasional background noise-due mainly to dust and static, with just very light marks to the vinyl.
Even the run-ins are incredibly quiet!
All I can see are incredibly faint marks to the vinyl and the rest is DUST!

*THIS IS AN EASY UPGRADE*

GLORIOUS MONO

FLAT as the day she was born!

TURN HER UP-I DID ;)

The labels:
EX+. All four of the labels are extremely bright and clean with the DARKER apple.

I can only see a small hanful of very light spindle marks-only visible to sides 2 & 4 and even these can only be seen when angling towards the light....
MAGICAL
 NO HOLE WEAR at all!
NO WRITING
"Mfd in the U.K." to each of the labels.
NO "EMI Recording" to side 3

PLEASE SEE THE DETAILED IMAGES PROVIDED-CLICK ON THEM FOR EVEN LARGER IMAGES AND SEE MY FEEDBACK FOR FAIR GRADING AND HAPPY CUSTOMERS

The Cover:
EX
NUMBERED: 0167033 It is an EARLY first run, with TOP loading.
 Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold
The spine remains strong, clear and UNCRUSHED!
Superb cover-creamy white, with just 4 very small crescent of spidering and maybe just the two small fingers of spidering from the seams of this glorious laminated gatefold cover.
The single point I can see is the slight discolouration-as can be seen in the images-really not a bad thing-shows her original age! As well as a tiny bit of feathering to the top of the front cover.
SIMPLY LOVELY CONDITION

Correct MONO cover as it doesn't have the printing of  Stereo to the back top right.
GLORIOUS and clean on the inside of the gatefold.
(Please see the detailed pictures for yourself-it really is lovely).
AGAIN, I AM BEING INCREDIBLY CRITICAL!!!

Excellent, very strong Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold flipbacks....
ORIGINAL FIRST PRINTING!!!

Inners:  EX-!! Original BLACK inners. They are both  well looked after.
One is in Ex condition with a small split to one side and the other has a tape repair to one side.
BOTH WOULD DISPLAY WELL
They have the die-cut corners and the'windows' on one side to each.
THEY ARE ALL ORIGINAL-NOT REPRO!

Pictures: ALL present (John and George, Ringo & Paul)
They are EXCELLENT+ AND ORIGINAL.
They DON'T have any pin-holes around their edges...Which was quite typical for the Beatles fans to pin their beau's up on their bedroom wall.
SHARP CORNERS-with just some gentle and small creases to John & George-nothing at all to worry about
Lovely and bright.
GORGEOUS

HERE'S THE VERY RARE THING: IT INCLUDES THE ORIGINAL BLANK SPACER!!! YOU DON'T FIND THESE VERY OFTEN AT ALL
(It is a little creased but in superb overall condition)

Poster: NEAR MINT! Full size and with lyrics to the back.
She is in magical condition-WITHOUT splits ar tears, or even pin-holes!
Vibrant colours too.
TOP condition!
ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN

ALL IN ALL A LOVELY COLLECTORS PIECE HERE...DON'T FORGET:
IT'S  THE FIRST MONO PRESS.

INCLUDES THE RARE SPACER

SOUNDS GREAT-LOOKS GREAT-IS GREAT!
(one of the best audio reproductions I have heard fro this album!!)
